True North's Medium Speed sand is a 50/50 mix of high speed silicone sand and courser grade obtuse sand giving you an ideal playing bed for playing shuffleboard. A liberal coat gives your shuffleboard pucks the perfect bed for glide---not too fast, and not too slow. Slow sand can often be too slow, and fast sand can often be far too fast--picking up all the variations and noise in your throw. Medium Speed mix gives you the best of both worlds, giving you control in your throw, minimizing noise, and maintaining the fast smooth shuffleboard feel. Shake well. Not for use on floors.
